planning to carry on to Moldova
Apparently Russia already has troops stationed in Transnistria, so not alarming invasion news.

Russia's cruise missiles targetting seems to be shit too. I mean that one this morning was not aimed at the street in front of the building was it?

Yeh they have "peacekeepers" there since it brakeaway, it still views itself as a independent state so not sure it will want to be occupied more than anywhere else

Twitter has been telling me that their medium and long range missiles are good, there short range are rubbish as they don't rely on precision strikes in the same way the west does, they just use heavy artillery instead

It seems like Putin just pushed Finland over the edge. The prime minister is meeting her cabinet today and then it is go time. I still have 15 years left in the army reserves and more than happy to join the ukrainians on the northern front. Time to grab Karelia back now that We started moving borders.
Putin Huilo!

They’ve already driven a tank through the bus lane, judging by the state of the tarmac!

Did you mean 15 days rather than years? If not that's one hell of a conscription :-)
BTW how "open" is Finland's border with Russia? Is it heavily guarded/militarised? -

You are in the reserves until you turn 60. It is a Life time deal. Of course They would probably let somebody younger do the diving.
The border is not relevant. Guerrilla warfare Can be done anywhere.

Got a mate who's been called back in for May for "rehearsals". He's 40, lives in London, and has two children.

Given he’s got the badge of the US 1st Cavalry division on that map, it feels like this was printed in the 80s and dragged out of a basement.

A mate of mine who is 50 this year (served in the artillery for his conscription) is concerned he might get called back.

How if Europe keeps buying Russian energy, it might be able to get sufficient foreign capital to keep going longer than expected
