I have spots on my Explorer and pretty much always turn them on. More visibility is only a good thing
Edit: I am 41 and fat.
Wasn't this looked in to scientifically, and as the pattern of the position of the lights is out of what is seen as normal by the brain so is registered as something different so seen.
Does that make some sense?
