It's part of what lets him spin his revisionist history that the West is out to cripple their economy and why the UK gets criticism from the US and EU for still letting Russians hide their money here

Think am starting to believe the propaganda of little or punitive measures to Russia while the truth is different. The if it is said enough times it becomes the truth. Didn't even know about the collapse of the ruble was link to sanctions rather that global economic issues.

Feels like we are blind to propaganda

There are levels to this game. Movies like "Rambo" for example can also considered US propaganda but in places like Belarus or Russia it's so severe they distort reality.
