  • I bought a Braun alarm clock a couple of years ago and banished my phone from the bedside table, dramatically increased the amount of reading I was doing and meant I dropped off much faster. Strong recommend from me.

  • Heading down to Silvertown with appropriate timepiece

  • Yeah that all might be true, but my phone does this amazing daylight/brightening alarm.
Pretty sure that cancels out all negative effects doom scrolling until eyes shut has!

  • Love it, terrifying scratches though

  • I think they're his hairs!

  • Airport try on fun

  • I really like the Tissot on. Seems like a bit of a bargain. Shame it’s not a bit thinner but wears nicely.

  • If that goth Zenith had a seconds track (so that it was actually usable as a chronograph) I’d be genuinely interested in it.

  • It’s Ti and really light and comfy.

  • Settling in to watch the rugby

  • Ti zenith is 👌

  • I showed my missus the watches, point out the Zenith. I voiced that I was trying to work out if its a panda or reverse panda... She hilariously pipes up "I don't know... I've never seen a panda reverse up to me" 😂

  • @magpie always liked this shadow zenith, never seen in the flesh, dimensions looks really on point..

  • It’s basically a hipster A384. The A384 revival looks really great, original 37mm proportions, ladder bracelet and all. This is a nice modern take on it (and I like that they removed the date) but it just tips over into marketing BS by removing the seconds track. Shame.

    Brixton?

  • terrifying scratches

Yeah—it is not kept in cotton wool. “Patina” isn’t too distressing day to day, I’m reconciled to it showing signs of being worn

  • I have one in the post, already checking out bead blast and brushing options if I can find somewhere to send it. Cracking watch though, banger of the century so far if you ask me.

  • Light alarm clocks, any good?
(Those ones that light up the room, not carbon fibre ones)a

    Any recommendations?

Ideally that is completely dark over night (no illuminated time whatsoever)

  • We use a Lumie Bodyclock. Great sunrise clock. Completely dark when sunrise alarm set. Also can be set to a very dim level.

  • Also had a SRS100 sunrise system which allowed 2 lamps to be plugged in and used as a sunrise clock. That was great but died a couple years ago.

  • Cheers! Will seek one out

  • Someone on another forum manger to grab the new Mr G square. Here it is looking amazing next to the OG metal gshock square
