Yeah that all might be true, but my phone does this amazing daylight/brightening alarm.
Pretty sure that cancels out all negative effects doom scrolling until eyes shut has! -

Love it, terrifying scratches though

I really like the Tissot on. Seems like a bit of a bargain. Shame it’s not a bit thinner but wears nicely.

If that goth Zenith had a seconds track (so that it was actually usable as a chronograph) I’d be genuinely interested in it.

It’s Ti and really light and comfy.

I showed my missus the watches, point out the Zenith. I voiced that I was trying to work out if its a panda or reverse panda... She hilariously pipes up "I don't know... I've never seen a panda reverse up to me" 😂

It’s basically a hipster A384. The A384 revival looks really great, original 37mm proportions, ladder bracelet and all. This is a nice modern take on it (and I like that they removed the date) but it just tips over into marketing BS by removing the seconds track. Shame.

Yeah—it is not kept in cotton wool. “Patina” isn’t too distressing day to day, I’m reconciled to it showing signs of being worn

I have one in the post, already checking out bead blast and brushing options if I can find somewhere to send it. Cracking watch though, banger of the century so far if you ask me.

Light alarm clocks, any good?
(Those ones that light up the room, not carbon fibre ones)aAny recommendations?
Ideally that is completely dark over night (no illuminated time whatsoever)

We use a Lumie Bodyclock. Great sunrise clock. Completely dark when sunrise alarm set. Also can be set to a very dim level.

Also had a SRS100 sunrise system which allowed 2 lamps to be plugged in and used as a sunrise clock. That was great but died a couple years ago.

I bought a Braun alarm clock a couple of years ago and banished my phone from the bedside table, dramatically increased the amount of reading I was doing and meant I dropped off much faster. Strong recommend from me.
