  • Have edited the original post for clarity, hopefully makes sense.

  • Anonymous doing anonymous things, like leaking the database of the Russian MInistry of Defence website…

  • Easily found, despite Twitter removing it.

  • Since the beginning of 2014 the UK has offered asylum to just 30
Ukrainians, but has offered entry clearance visas to 1,261 Russian
    oligarchs.

  • What does that tell us, that we didn't know before?

What I want to know is of the 1261, how much did each give to the tory party.

  • 700 of them were the Right To Remain visas. Zero financial checks. Nothing.

  • 700 oligarchs?

I grew up with quite a few Poles and Ukrainians, suspect they were catholic but don't quote me on that as I know of a few that married Italians after ww2 or were part of ex servicemens clubs. So my view is skewed

  • They had to have £3m. No questions asked. The Golden Visa.

  • When UK announced their sanctions the Russian stock market rose, that's how ineffectual they were. We have the worst PM and government at the worst possible time.

  • Well that says it all.

Shall we look at what the PM did after the salisbury poisonings.

  • I've got a spare room to offer a Ukrainian. It's a pity the government won't let them come. I'm sure lots of people would like to help.

  • Have you not seen Arron Banks' or Farage's twitters the last few days?

  • Sounds like she was briefed against by someone in Labour?!

  • We have the worst PM and government at the worst possible time.

A coincidence? Or did Putin decide now's the time to try his luck?

Liz fucking Truss as foreign secretary, Jesus Christ

  • Putin's investment in bots and bribes to swing the Brexit vote hasn't really paid off. The big sanction, the German gas one, has happened. Well done Germany.

  • Thinking to myself:
Putin’s whereabouts must surely be known by the CIA/NSA/NRO.
If he went nuclear they could drop one right on his head in minutes.

  • Happy to wake up and see Ukraine still holds against mordor!

Ukrainians shot down two cargo planes last night, carrying Russian occupants.
Another false flag operation in Vasilkyv airport - Russian occupants, dressed in police uniforms drove to the airport and shot the security guards. Those false flag operations are super scary for me personally and they can also be used for Russian propaganda. Fights are still happening for that airport.

By the way somebody in this thread mentioned mobile crematorium, here's a video for it: https://youtu.be/mVPTqHZqdz0

If Ukraine holds further, I want to believe hungry and sleep deprived Russian occupants will walk back to their mordor homeland on foot.

They've been brainwashed and lied to by Russian media that they will be welcome in Ukraine as saviours that will free them from "drug addict nazi regime" (Putins word) but they're learning the truth the hard way. Every city, every district they enter they are met with swarm of bullets from all the sides. They gave civilians 18.000 of AK in Kiev.

Zelensky was offered help by US to evacuate his reply is: "War is happening here, I need ammo, not a taxi"

  • I have written to my MP to express my support for doing what is needed and my willingness to suffer economically or tangibly as a result, though I am not sure I support a NATO overt action; but we must also ask if not now, when? If anyone has other suggestions on tangible actions to take, I am all ears.

  • I wholeheartedly disagree with my local MP. He is a nasty piece of Tory scum, that obediently votes against any measure that could provide social justice.

So far my draft email is a one-line.

“You have been a government of selfish inaction. Now, finally, with Ukraine earn your salt.”

I fear he is too busy finding ways to rip off the elderly or disabled to understand what I am asking.

  • I am not sure I support a NATO overt action; but we must also ask if not now, when?

I think the answer is (and has always been) "when a member state of NATO is attacked". My understanding is that those are the terms on which NATO exists. It is a deterrent to its members being invaded, not a global peacekeeper.

  • For me I am writing to support any non-violent action expressing understanding that it results in hardship for UK. Any good way to express that those most vulnerable to effects of sanctions etc (not me) need to be protected in this country too? I understand that violence needs to be opposed with violence but that's not a call I can make.

  • Is this James Gray by any chance?
