Hydros are really easy to swap out and replace etc. The only issue is when the hose is too short but then that problem can apply to cable discs too. What am I missing?

Different tier calipers needing different fittings, so you cannot always reuse the hose. Think deore vs. Slx

BH90 and BH59 are cross compatible, you just need to make sure you use the correct barbs
