This is why I started to look in the direction of steel bikes because those seem to be the only ones that still have all things external routing for ease of life.

I like steel. I like carbon. I like alu.
I wonder how much of this 'steel rides nicer' stuff comes from the simple fact that steel frames don't rattle and ping like carbon stuff does. They don't have the rattly hollow noise. I've been riding my Mason and my old Tarmac back to back and they're both cool. :)
Anyway, I don't mind all these stupid Insta trends, so long as it keeps me up to the eyeballs in used parts.

That might be the best bike to grace this thread. Except all mine, obviously.

Cable discs are shit.
If you've got them, fine. But don't actively put cable discs on a bike that will work with hydro discs.

Amen brother, they all have their place.
Not titanium though, that's for submarines. And leaky old SR71s

Could just cantilevers make a comeback already?
edit: sorry just caught up on thread, were back to steel frames now
OK yeah that is a bit of a ball ache but really no worse than cutting off a ferrule and having to fit a new one. I'd still blame the frame! #fuckinternalrouting
