Thanks yes stock parts were totally fine i have this compulsion to constantly tit about with stuff that really doesn't need it. I'll get the bearings you recommend up thread first and check out Fibrelytes replacement parts. Thanks for the links for those. I had no idea they made small parts I've had a couple of their chainrings in the past and they are really well made unlike my Aerocoach rings I'm running at the moment. Should have stuck with the Fibrelytes but the chainrings were yet another one of my totally unnecessary spontaneous purchases.
Replace the bearings, replace the plates and pulleys with FibreLyte ones which are nicely made and thick enough to work properly. Make it work whatever the expense! (or just use the stock parts which are fine)
