  • Took me some time to get that but thanks for the compliment :D
Will do about that fork (If I don't forget :^) )

  • Actually, they're 23's. I had a spare wheelset with these tyres sitting around. They suit the bike imo

  • What are all of you old framers using for Seatposts?

I’m searching for a zero or minimal offset, 27.0mm, silver, 2 bolt seatpost, about 250mm.

I’ve got a lovely Nitto NJ-SP72, which is 22mm offset, but I want to move the saddle 5-10mm more forward.
I’ve also got a campagnolo 2bolt seatpost which allows for marginally less forward travel than the Nitto.

Thomson 0mm is only available in black, what should I be searching for here?

  • Condor do an inline 27.2 silver post. I believe it's a rebadged kalloy. Has in the past been sold by Chain Reaction and Wiggle as a brand-x.

  • I have a Nitto s65 27.2 boxed that I’d sell for the eBay completed listing avg. PM if interested.

  • Thanks @snoops, I had an s65 previously and sold it. I’m a 2bolt kinda guy.

I’ll put up a separate wanted post in a while but if anyone has a 27.0, suntour superbe pro in good condition I’d be up for it.

Looks about 15mm of offset from the photo.

  • Velo Orange Grand Cru Zero Setback ?

  • Funny name for a seatpost with setback.

  • No dice as there is no option for 27.0. Good to see something different though, cheers.

  • I have black Kalloy post and stem.

    They absolutely fine.

  • They absolutely fine.

    This isn't though.

  • No need, that’s quality, love the tight colour scheme

  • Very, very nice.

I used not to be a fan of deep carbon dubs on an MGOF, but I’ve come round and now consider it to be peak: only the frame should be old IMO.

  • Yep, very good.

  • Looking good

  • On point. Love those old carerra frames

  • Chrome stays with silver post and stem 👌🏻

  • Usually I find chrome stays and fork doesn't leave enough frame colour, but given yours is black and you've got the deep carbon rims, it's pure win.

  • Basso columbus slx 'loto' with Campagnolo super record 11s
