NATO is the reason there hasn't been a major conflict in the western world for a long time but let's not pretend it's not a warmongering organisation operating on the basis of western exceptionalism

I agree but they're on the good side. On our side. On the civilised world side. On human rights side. Freedom of speech. Western values and everything that comes with it.
And without them Russia could take my country back in 6 hours. So I am very happy to see US soldiers in my country.

It's the only thing that keeps the civilised world safe and mordor at bay. But nice try!
Also: Ukraine is Sovereign, free country, with democratically elected government. Sovereign countries have a right to choose what unions they want to join.
