I recognised the same IKEA mugs that we own in the lead image of this Royal Oak perpetual calendar release article and I commented that people who own Royal Oak QPs don't drink from IKEA mugs. Straight away someone replied "I got a RO QP, and I drink from an IKEA mug, but that's a consequence of having a Swedish wife".

It has an 18mm strap; a cursory google suggests that you can get fabric straps in this width but are there any complications I should be aware of?

All you need to fit a nato are two spring bars, so they'll fit most watches - the lugs look a bit funny on the watch (which is an absolute belter of a watch by the way - love the design) but suspect there's simple spring bars in the recession.

Sorry if am teaching you to suck eggs, but something to be aware of - a "proper" nato has two strips of fabric sitting underneath the watch, so will make the watch ride higher than a normal strap would - usually not that noticeable but it might be a bit more pronounced if you've got tiny wrists and a small watch.

What trousers

A fake watch dealer in China told me another factory was raided in January, and some of the staff are likely to be jailed. Apparently some of the dealers already have staff in in prison with long sentences.

Get a quality watch with the looks? How 'bout a Steinhart Ocean One? Steinhart has cracking quality (I know i know...) It looks the part too...

The Worn and Wound one is the only Damasko I'd own. But there are plenty of other watches at $1000 that I'd take before that.
