Get some scales.
Feeling less wobbly, and clothes feeling different isn’t easily measured.Good to hear you’ve managed to cut out beer and snacks, it’s often the biggest and most important step, even keeping all other eating the same.

Diet fatigue got me today, got a takeaway.
Went for half an aromatic duck with pancakes to share, so fortunately the most calorie filled option.
More carbs than I’d normally have though, but very satisfying. -

01/01: 80.8kg
29/1: 76.5kg
05/02: 75.5kg
12/02: 75.2kg
19/2: 74.9kgIt’s good to see a 4, weight loss has seemed slow over the last 2 weeks.
I had added daily burpees, and callisthenics during the day, like pull-ups, chin-ups, leg raises, L-Sits, planche progressions, so I feel quite a lot leaner and see a big visual change over the last 2 weeks, more than the 600g weight change suggests.A week in France next week, where I will aim to up the cycling, keep up the training, but naturally eat more.
Leaves myself too much to lose in March to get to 68kg, but 70kg should be achievable and very acceptable if I’ve gained the muscle mass that I think I have.

Stretch - 80I've had a week off exercise, with half-term eating away at free time.
Eating has settled into a pattern of 400 cal breakfast, 400 cal lunch, 800 - 1,200 supper.
Since the last time I was this weight, my body shape has changed very noticeably - I have lost a lot of lower body muscle, probably because almost zero cycling, compared to 200+ miles a week.
Jeans just fall down. Belts are at never before seen notches.
But boobs are gone. And saddle bags are disappearing.
Onwards and inwards!

Some great work in here.
I've had COVID this week, so active calories burned were virtually zero. Haven't lost any weight, but haven't gained any.
When I can get out of isolation looking forward to pushing back on towards my new target of 84kg, (currently 86.8kg, was 94kg on 2nd January).

85kg on my parents’ scales yesterday (which is 2kg less than my lowest on my scales).
I’d guess my scales are wrong as they’re cheaper/shitter/older and obviously it suits me more. All in all, I’m somewhere around 5-6kg down and there is a massive visual difference (apologies in advance for the photos).
Another 5-6kg to go but really happy to be able to see results. Keto 95% of the time with allowances for carb splurges seems so much more sustainable than super strict keto and the inevitable falling off the wagon after 3-4 months and then losing interest.

Week 0: 90.2
Week 1: 88.1 (-2.1)
Week 2: 87.2 (-0.9)
Week 3: 86.8 (-0.4)
Week 4: 85.4 (-1.2)
Week 5: 84.0 (-1.4)
Week 6: 84.0 (0.0)
Week 7: 83.2 (-0.8)Clocked in at 82.x during the week, but another over-carbed Saturday bumped things back up for weigh-in. Was a hard week, a few slow days meant a lot of distraction snacking. Basically no exercise either. Doubt I'll be out much this week as I've got an interview on my day off, second half of a plastering course all weekend and rain rain rain.
Starting to fit into some shirts I've not been able to wear for a while. Still a little way to go before they're properly comfortable again.

I've actually not found myself recording weights for a wee bit now. I know I'm hovering around the 84.5/85kg mark and still counting calorie with more modest deficits. (Goal was 82kg but I have realised that might be the peak rather than sustainable so 83 is good)
Just good vibes over here. Look good, feel good, putting in miles.
Kudos to everyone still 'being good" well into February!

Weekend was a bit of a write off after Thursday, by the time I didn’t feel hungover I had an ftp test to do and then it was time to eats some carbs ready for Sundays 35km of running…
Surprised my weight hadn’t really changed when I weighed in this morning, and now have a few weeks without the temptation to self sabotage…

Quick update here: started from 92kg in early Jan and weighed myself for the first time 15 Feb at 84kg. Been plateauing for the last week, but will try to eat less carbs to get to my target of 80kg by end of March.
Been running 5 times a week, a very slow 5km that satisfies my Vitality requirements hehe, but looking to get more serious about running soon.

Moan time.
People telling me that I don't need to diet.
I have (or had) a BMI (yeah, yeah, I know) of 27, which may be marginally overweight, but when combined with an entirely sedentary lifestyle, middle age, and a waist to hip ratio of > 1.1, it means I need to do something about it.
Also, that cake you gave us last week looked fucking amazing, and I'm really upset that it had gone off by cheat day.

Would help if I stopped getting into the ice cream and the hummus (not at the same time obviously)

I’ve been fluctuating at the 80kg mark now for two weeks but have looked leaner and critically love handles are reduced. This last week I’ve been 79.5kg. Pretty pleased all in all

Cheers for the encouragement!
Deffo found that I was way hungrier on Monday/Tuesday after some binges over the weekend while away (but managed to keep them a lot more in check than I usually would).
Seemed to be back on it again today tho. Scales have also gone up a touch, but deffo to be expected. But it deffo makes me think about how eating crap food deffo makes eating less harder in general.

Without getting too graphic, I had a big turn out this morning so I weighed in a day early.
2 Jan 101.4
4 Jan 100.5
8 Jan 98.6
13 Jan 98.4
14 Jan 97.8
15 Jan 96.9
21 Jan 96.0
24 Jan 95.5
28 Jan 94.0
4 Feb 93.3
7 Feb 91.8
8 Feb 91.4
12 Feb 92.2
15 Feb 90.2
24 Feb 89.2I’ve lost 218g a day since the start of the year.
I’ve decided I am going to have one weekend of drinking and eating what I like each month. I did that last weekend and the next one begins three weeks tomorrow.
I was in fairly severe physical pain earlier after my curry tonight, stomach has definitely shrunk.
No guilt though :)
(and everyone noticed the stone I'd shifted which, I admit, I love)
