Hi from Salsa Lip lock cru! Definitely get braze ons, it's to my understanding fairly easy and fast job for a framebuilder. Or if you want so save some weight I reckon most carbon cyclocross forks have close enough axle to crown measurements.
I'm also a happy owner of such 'roller.

Buying every surly in sight?

It's a surly 53cm but to top of the seat tube it's 56cm, figure that, it's defo smaller than that lovely crosscheck you've just purchased. Should of just bought a crosscheck in first place myself. Think I'll stick with the old mtbs and just be in a grump on its sluggish ride :-(

Ah shame!
think it would be extremely funny to own 3 of the same bike but with different drop outs

Anybody looking to shift a 56cm roller? Full or frameset. Happy with a ratty one as long as it doesn't have any dents or cracks.

Cool, I'm in Manchester and have been passing on the details to a pal here, he might also be interested

Thanks for that, local sale is preferable if possible, let me know if any more pictures/info is required

Also considering having some canti studs brazed onto my fork but would be interested to see what people think.
If getting canti studs then probably worth also considering bottle bosses and mudguard eyes.
I did those (but not canti mounts) to my mates Steamy for him and its made it much more usable.

thought I post my steamroller here too, its my newest "winter" bike (it doesn't snow anymore here, just icy rain sometimes) running 650b wheels.
seatpost is a placeholder bc it has just 27,0mm , will be swapped soon. this will be mostly for riding in the nearby parks. ratio is 46/19.

Nice build. What's the biggest tyres can you can squeeze in with 650b? Keep thinking of doing the same

That looks ACE,
why does everybody else's rollers look so much better than mine.
