    You wash your mouth. Mini v are excellent, providing you don’t go for the very shitty Tektro.

    Best one for the money is the Shimano R353* (Sora grade), put compression-less housing and you’re sorted.

    *this is what I fit on the majority of old tandem bikes when booked for a service.

    Pretty sure that’s what I have on my Brompton now and, paired with an mid school odyssey lever, it does well on there.

    When I was running it on my fixed road bike with a tektro rl340 lever though it was shite. Needed setting up really close to the rim in order to have nice lever feel and then it just rubbed all the time, dirt(y water) on the rim, out the saddle climbing, track standing…urgh.

    Admittedly that could have been as much to do with the lever as it was the brake.

    It is and I ran the same levers before.

    It improves noticeably with compressionless, but the biggest improvement is using SRAM S500 with it, it bites really sharp with almost zero sponginess.
