Big love to the forum for getting behind the Burner project. Totally overwhelmed by the interest, support, and the generosity of everyone involved. It's been awesome seeing the forum work like this.
Having been unable to run some things last year due to restrictions, I thought I'd use the opportunity in the project and asked for voluntary donations to be split between a Hackney youth careers charity and LFGSS.
We've raised a shade over Ā£600 ....which is amazing! Transferred to LFGSS last week, will deposit the Outrunners in a sec, and there might be a touch more once everything is rounded up :)
Massive thank you to everyone that's been part of this, you're all awesome. Never had any idea when this kicked off from a little gesture in the Rapha thread. Big shout to my brother for providing the face coverings with each order, and Albion for getting behind it too.
Have a great Wednesday you lovely people!

V quick message from founder of Outrunners/Run Your Career;
"Amazing thanks so much! We got the donation and it will make huge difference. š"
.....Also - and apologies I didn't think to include in the post above - big thanks to @Velocio for the space to make this all happen, especially at a time when regular stuff like workshops, masterclasses, meet-ups, aren't possible. Bravo.

Looking back over 2021, more love to LFGSS for support for different endeavours. I've been overwhelmed by the generosity at times, so massive thank you. Ā£750 went to getting young people on bikes at HH, and I've just stuck a ton in the LFGSS tank (feedbag?) for running costs to say thank you.
As ever, big cheers to @Velocio for the space to make this happen, and the omnipotent mods who keep this place running as smoothly as it needs to.
Looking ahead, 2022, would like to do something similar (funds from sales into local/community cycling initiatives), but hopefully more permanent and build year-on-year.
It's no bad thing, but recently, the phone rings and I keep saying yes to design projects (or teaching) which has got in the way of making accessories for the forum. I hope to wrap stuff up the additional work in a few months and be able to get more forum specials out. As ever, apologies for the intermittent service here, but thanks a million for the continued support. BIG LOVE.
