Dalecannon thingy your bag?

  • Am thinking of moving this on.
It is a laugh to ride but I have a plan for something else that requires funding.
Well, that’s not strictly true, but it’s the lie I live by to kid myself I’m not really spending more money on experiments in cycleBieking.
It has become something of a money pit, so that could be your gain.
I am 5’10” in old money for sizing based questions.
    Yes, 650b.
    Nine speed.
It also now has a red anodised narrowide 32t front ring so that gets you a 32x36.
The rear stays are covered in stickers as I can’t face the cost of a repaint. They’re not hiding anything that might kill you.
Will be keeping the lights and bottle cages.
    Otherwise fire me your questions.
Thinking somewhere around the £200 mark? Make me an offer?
Might be able to get it to The London if anyone there is keen.
Otherwise will need to be collecting (or meet near Reading-ish.)
Can get some more pics up in a bit, so here’s one for now.
    I thank you.

  • What on earth is that ?
Also strangely drawn to it, what size is it in non human size jargon.

  • A, er-hm, ‘Bad Boy Lefty’ lol
I guess it’s maybe a sort of medium to large. It’s hard to tell, the geometry is so weird but really, well, relaxing to ride?
I’m told it was a sort of commute ride and that makes sense. Well, sort of not as there’s clearly never going to be front rack that fits that. Have a set of narrow Kojak slick tyres to go with it as well :)

  • Er ok , I normally ride a 54 ( I've only got little legs ) and worried it look a little large .
When you say Reading ( ish ) area whereabouts are you? I'm just outside Oxford .
Any chance of any more pics ?

  • Ah, I work in Steventon so I could bring it into the office and if you’re about during the weekdays, very welcome to give it a go :)
Will take more pics in a bit. And like I say, open to offers if it did work for you.

  • ctc on the seatpost is 48cm so it’s quite low slung.
    Cranks are 170 arms.
The thing on the steerer is a bracket for fixing lights to :)
    Lots of pics…

  • Thanks for that , I'm actually in Abingdon so just round the corner really.
Let me do some digging with those measurements and I'll give you a shout if it's still around.
Used to be a bit of a Cannondale fanboy and secretly always wanted a Bad Boy with a rigid Lefty.

  • Managed to try a mates the other day , and am sort of on the fence . His was a medium and am not sure it was comfortable . gonna have a think

  • Oops. Should have changed the ad, now sold :)

  • Oh cool , good for you .
