Basically the conclusion I arrived at is that the Tern is a nightmare for a bike shop employee but a joy as a product and why we see more people angry with it 'on here'
It is SUCH a well thought out kid carrier that is also a semi-decent cargo bike, no other I have seen or ridden matches, still a low benchmark but still good.
