FFS. Because of Brexit you aren't allowed to take "meat based dog food" from the UK to the EU.

Planning on splitting our time between UK and Austria and suddenly have to start think about changing the mutts diet instead of taking his normal food with us.

Can you get their regular food on the continent?
Or an approximation of it (I understand transitioning food is a process though)

An approximation is almost certainly possible. He's on paleoridge here. I have no doubt that there are quality BARF options in Austria.

Seems crazy that you can't take even one day worth of dog food with you on a journey though!
