And this just in from our boot correspondent: "Magnum Boots disappoint, despite initial promise!".
Being as they actually manufacture them, rather than rebranding Wolverine tat, I had high hopes. Alas the soles of the summer pair needed re-gluing and the stitching of the winter pair has gone in several places, identically on each boot.
Just ordered some calf-length Amblers for £40-odd which seem suspiciously well regarded...
