Not too bad!
The first lap I messed up and missed a few flags, so a few 5’s unnecessarily. After that it got a bit better.
One section was impossible. Too steep and muddy. I made it on the first lap but the next three laps had to get pulled up and even those guys struggled to help me. Most people failed that section, the more difficult routes actually had better grip.
Otherwise, I was surprised just how tough a few of the sections were, on ‘beginner route’. Very steep bank to the river, that was interesting. Only one crossing per section, but two sections made use of it. The more technical routes went in and out of the river a number of times.
In two minds if I stick to absolute beginner or give the novice route a go.
