Those aren’t rusty rims. Motorpaced bikes not only glued the tyres to the rims. There was additional fabric glued from the tyre sidewall over the rims (between the spokes) to the other sidewall. This helped keep the tyre on the rim if the tyre flatted at high speed.

eBay Searches...
Is there any way to stop eBay changing the criteria for my searches every time I edit the text line? It keeps coming back in "best match" order, when I previously selected "lowest price" etc. etc.. It's done this shit for years, but it seems to be getting worse.

So annoying.
Likewise searching for item in the UK it reverts to worldwide every new search.

All these search options become part of the URL right? Maybe just change the search text in the URL, but keep the rest, hit enter?

Obviously not gonna work on the phone app.

I just bought a 653 road frame, + extras, made by a very reputable British framebuilder for £120. I sold an entire bike (653 King of Mercia) with 8sp Chorus on it for about £300 last year. That last one went a bit cheap. Should give you some idea of ball-park.

It's not that I want it, I'm just puzzled by the gall of the seller. He comes across as knowledgeable. I hope no-one's taken in.
