Rusty spokes?

Yo. Would you treat these, with this?

Only concern is longevity of the spokes. No interest in what they look like. Which is likely to last longer, current rusty spoke or chemically treated? Any risk of them becoming brittle or wotnot?

Bin. The nipples will be corroded onto the threads.

Rusting through the spokes themselves is a slow process.

Cool. So I heard. It's the weekend, you obviously want something to do, hit it with some Granville, it can't get any worse.

brillo pad, the wire wool with soap will clean that up in no time. looks like its only on the surface so shouldn't be any real issue with the integrity of the spoke
