I tried some stuff, but I would have to rebuild the seatpost because the saddle covers the clamp.
That's actually why I think this saddle and the Turbo works; it nicely covers up the clamp. Doesn't look as good if you don't, in my opinion:

I decided to scratch the itch and have recently converted my Kepler from drops to a set of flat bars.
set up feels good but the ali bars I'm using are pretty stiff so wondered if there were any recommendations for something with a bit more flex? -

This is pretty much finished for now. Just need to finish off the mudguards and trim the steerer. Needs a bag for the rack (and possibly a new rack with a wider platform whilst I'm at it) and new grips at some point but I'm going to make sure I actually like it before I throw any more money at it.

Tektro R559 (55-73mm reach), rear alllll the way down in the slots.
this is the state i fell in love with - contrasting black tape and black saddle
