    Old trick was to pour pickling vinegar (higher percent citric acid) to attack any corrosion. Also recommend cutting fluid dripped on the drill bit too helps the metal stay cool and cut the bits out.

  • Every bike I've ever had, has had a seized swingarm bolt. I've banged on this thread before about it. When I go to buy a bike I take tools, and ask if I can loosen and spin the bolt, most look confused as to why and let me try, sometimes they are stuck anyways, and sometimes they know they are stuck and claim ignorance.
    My current bike had the worst one, super long bolt through all the usual structures, but quite skinny, so really hard to drill it on centre. had to cut the swing arm into at least ten pieces though
