I've not experienced that. Have you tried balancing the air pressure and then removing a tiny bit ( less than 5psi ) from the positive chamber, as I found this sat the fork into its travel by a couple of mm and made the initial stroke very supple

I ordered them, more to see what they're like than any expectation that they'll be better than my air ones (which I've never been unhappy with, other than that very first unsticking they do when you first get on the bike.
I might put the coil forks on the 295 whilst I send the Lyrik in for a service.
