Yes, keen to avoid this. It was growing into the garages before I started to cut it all back, clogging the guttering and so on.

Some people would pay a lot of money (in London) for a living roof on their garage. They're all the rage apparently..
Can you just not ‘fold’ it back into their garden. We had a Neigbour’s Rose which was huge amd leaning into our fence and one day when they were Out just pushed over to their garden and ultimately into their lawn they then cut it all the way back.
