I remembered Cannondales having great paint schemes around 20 years ago, but then I saw this from 2002...

I love it!

Is yours the one just gone on eBay for £600 then?
-
• #14982
It is, though I am open to offers... I'm aware the 'buy it now' is significantly higher than the numbers suggested here. That's partially due to Ebay fees, willing to post internationally, and I saw one went for £630 odd in the US a couple months back. I'm contemplating adding some more components to the listing to sweeten the deal maybe (Enve Seatpost, Cannondale Stem and drop bars, original fizik saddle).

Shut up and take my money.

Fair enough, best of luck to you. They were sold as complete bikes with Mavic Ellipse and Sram Omniums for £849 and aren't exactly rare but if you get that for it, more power to you

• #14985
True, though I was under the impression that was a discounted price for the last few to shift stock? I don't expect to get £600 I'll be honest. If I have no joy on Ebay I may bring it here for a significantly discounted price.

They were originally about £1300 or £1400. For some reason Sigma ended up with a whole load (not just a few) and sold them at £849. Seems bizarre now.

Hey peeps. Ballpark, what would people expect to pay for a Made in USA CAAD9 with premium fork and mid tier components? Good condition. Cheers
-
• #14989
Mid tier components when the bike was new or more recent mid tier?
-
• #14990
Probably closer to mid tier when the bike was released

In the process of putting new wheels/tyres/brakes on my 3.0 R500 .. this is with 25c michelin pro4s, reckon I could get 28s in?

The seat stays are rarely the bottleneck. What is the clearance like at the chainstays?
-
• #14994
Absolutely do it! Whilst my 96 and 94 bikes are 2.8 frames there'll be neglible differences, in fact at the rear I bet you'd get a 33c in there! First image is my 94 R900 with 700x27 Vittoria Pave CG's and the second my old 96 R900 with 700x28 Continental GP5000TL's. Both with modern wide carbon wheelsets.

@hoops :(

They go on sale on the 18th of March. There’s a few EU retailers that will stock them.

It's hard to photograph, but looks like probably 6-8 mm on either side, within the funny indentation.

Thanks for the confirmation, and lovely bikes!

Sad to say it but this beautiful 54cm frameset will be on sale in March this year.
After a lil' crash, the top tube was repaired by Mark at Carbon Reincarnation as best we could given the age of the frame and style of carbon layup from back in the day. See attached. You'll see the "13" is missing from the left side of the TT (non-drive side). Groupset, bars, cranks, & saddle not included
Pro seat post included + Sram Force brakes + rubber included
£400 ONOI'm based in East London, not far from Stratford - collection only.
Upgrading to a disc road frameset so I won't need the wheels either. Some slight cosmetic marks on the decals but that's it. I can throw in the worn gp5000s and tubes too.
£350 ONOIf interested in either parts or both, holler at me.
Cheers
Stefan
