Look at SFAB though. Benchmark for showing that incessant repetition delivers results. That shit stuck.

About once a year we lose our minds and order food to be delivered. It’s always horrible, on too variable a timescale, in a load of plastic and too expensive.
I don’t understand how people can do that with any regularity

We decided to do a rare delivery order this week. After 45 mins it was just cancelled without reason so I had to cook something after all as we were starving by then. Won't bother again for some time.

Fwiw: I always fetch our takeaways. It solves all the problems listed and encourages us to use local places. Often I order at the start of the bike commute and collect on my way past.

I'm google satellite viewing (in a totally stalkerish way).
I'm intrigued, to say the least, about the missile silos.

Perhaps all the local delivery drivers are retro-Sweet fans?

A boarding school the Education Council sent me to in the 70s was essentially a WWII airforce base in Norfolk which had been repurposed, with added sadists. I strongly suspect that the aircrew with a high risk of death had a better time than us inmates.

Websites that require you to enter the payment card type.
Only to then tell you that it's wrong.
If you know what it is already, why the fuck do you need it specified.

Canada geese. I’m sure they used to migrate at one point. Now they’re a year-round honking, shitting malevolent presence in our parks.

The species, or the overpriced coats?

The species of idiot bird.

I agree the prices are eyewatering but for a premium product made by adults getting a living wage I'd say they're in the range. I see many coats of lower quality selling for more because fashion.
