    Fair enough. Given how many mistakes I make around mechanical stuff I wanted to make sure I knew what sort of rigid fork would be suitable before parting with any cash.

  • I've not tried this, but if it's assembled as far as frameset+wheels+post+saddle then you can get a friend to sit on the bike (and hold a rail) while you measure the forks?
