No. I hate it. But not as much as I hate Trivial Pursuit.
I only do Wordle because I'm interested in etymology and language enough that this particular game allows me to explore that at the same time as statistics and probability.
But like Connect 4, Three, 2048 and others before it... I'm getting bored very quickly. Once you've got the basic strategy nailed even minor optimisations aren't that satisfying, I most enjoy the edge cases where my strategy fails... the first double letter did that, if a word like QUOIF comes around then it will probably do that too... but otherwise, it's kinda repetitive.
I've killed the enjoyment by being too analytical 🙄
BTW, anyone wanting the original Wordle can find it here: https://web.archive.org/web/20220210031511id_/https://www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle/
They've reduced the word list size by manually reviewing and deleting all of the possibly offensive words.
But otherwise the code is identical and it's not any more difficult, unless you relied on CUNTS as a guess (which is one of the 19 words removed).
I have thought about cloning and self-hosting the original in anticipation of the paywall or any adverts, but I'm very lazy.
