• The projector & TV thread is pretty dormant so I'll ask here:

    We had an LG projector that we're happy with, sent it for repair after a minor fault and now they're saying refund not replacement. Should I buy the same again, or is there anything else better to consider? Feels like projectors are even more of a minefield than other consumer electronics when armchair shopping.

    It was an LG PF50KS, very happy with picture quality. Could never get streaming to work but I'll just get a Chromecast or something. Bright enough for closed curtains which is fine for us. It only had digital keystone as opposed to optical lens so that'd be a welcome upgrade. It'll be ceiling mounted this time so doesn't have to be tiny, but I do like the compact nature of the LG.

  • I've not owned a projector so can't comment from experience. From what i've read I'd say the LG looks good at that price point.

    My brother had an older model Benq in his set up and was pleased with it. (he left it behind when he moved house, hence past tense)
