Maybe one of the Topping DACs with Bluetooth? I don’t think your 1mii receiver has a digital output, does it? Bear in mind that Bluetooth is probably never going to sound amazing.
I was doing the same with my TV’s headphone output until recently. Now I’ve got an optical digital cable going to my amp’s onboard DAC, and it’s night & day better.

I see. I think I rig that up. Or perhaps one of those Wiim things mentioned above?
I don’t mind lugging my phone into the stereo for better sound, but will I still need a dac? I’ve got another one that has a one coaxial input (and a spidf I used when I had a PlayStation), can you get a male 3.5mm jack to a single male coaxial, would that work?

I’ve got a quad 33/303 preamp/power amplifier combo, and whilst the vinyl setup is good, I’ve currently got one of these plugged into it to play music off my phone, and the TV is connected just our the head phone socket.
Any suggestions on an upgrade on the digital in? Do I need a DAC? Cheers.
