Ah, excuse me. You could be right. I am somewhat dreaming.
In my head it was fixed for sure ;) -

I don't actually mind. It's cool. Even if more of a sscx

Sram lever road fixerers, is this step of the back of the lever body the same with all models? Not great when riding on the hoods

it should fit into a corresponding hole in the lever body no?
Unless you've mixed 22 hoods with earlier brake bodies? -

All the ones based on first gen DoubleTap lever bodies, i.e. S500 and S900. I've never even noticed it, but then my bars have a larger bend radius.

I think it's the step from hood body to lever, and I've noticed it on various sram levers too. One can mitigate it to some extent with creative bar tape wrapping

Yeah sorry not the best description. This step highlighted below, i like thin tape and the back of the lever body is digging in something rotten when i ride on the hoods. Have padded it out with tape but it looks pretty bad. Wandering if something like Fimo would solve the issue.

What you want is sugru. Squish it into position on the back of the lever body and then leave to cure. Not sure if it sticks to alu though, so watch out you don't make it permanent, maybe some greaseproof paper in the gap or something.

I found the same problem on my old ones. I ran a small length of cable outer just round the bend and it helped a load.

I’d tuck in the bar tape in that area so you won’t get a lump.

Yeah tried that along with those fizik gel pads to smoothen it out, wasn't great. I reckon there's a good 5mm of build up when trying to get a flat transition on compacts so filling the gap with a moldable hardening compound might be a good shout.

This sounds like a good part time hack, will give it a go.

you could use those big gel compeeds you use in hiking boots to stop getting a blister?

Weird it looked straight from that image. Nice bike. Tempted to set flyer up for drops.

Little trial run on this today. Bit of fiddling to do to bring the levers up and tinker with the position, but rides like a dream. Weather today certainly helped!

Sweet!
Who made the frame? It doens't look like a stock frame. -

It’s a Pretorius ‘Longtom’ ti frame. They were designed as road frames rather than track, so the geometry is really lovely for boshing out the miles.

That's a beaut! An extra bottle cage on the downtube and that would be my dream frame/build
That's single speed no?
