No mention of any of the those in the article just the lack of helmet wearing and speeding in a 20mph zone but i guess that would be the for use on the roads. It seems they're treating these the same as if a moped was riding on the pavement or in a cycle lane which isn't allowed. E-scooters mostly get away with pavement and cycle lane use despite not being legal on either. Police turn a blind eye to food delivery E-bikes on pavements despite not being legal but they are coming down harder on these as they are a genuine menace i guess.
Any mention of a number plate, MOT, and insurance?
