  • They don't seem at all equivalent.

    I hardly dress up and go out these days, but I do post costumes I have made online, so there's more of an equivalence there.

  • I definitely "get it" more now so thanks everyone for your responses

  • The popularity of Cold War Steve. Comments under this pic are hailing it as some sort of satirical masterpiece. It’s student humour at best.

  • I always find myself asking what the punchline is supposed to be.

    It has the sense that there’s supposed to be something more going on, but no, it’s always just a fairly average collage of whoever is in the news in a whacky situation.

    What I don’t get, is why it makes me so disproportionately angry, lol.

  • My guess would be that he did some good jokes early on, which made his reputation, and since then those who became his fans have assumed that everything he does must be good.

  • nah its good, maybe his best

  • You are overthinking this. Photoshops of twats looking silly. It's not meant to be clever

  • hella

    It's a minger of a word. Actually so is 'minger'.

  • People flipping off the camera when their photo is taken

  • lin manuel miranda.

  • Led Zeppelin

    I've been reading Hammer of the Gods and it's entertaining, but their music is just a bit rubbish.

  • Noooo! Dated to today’s ears sure, but I bet you’re not a fan of Chopin and Buddy Holly either.

    Some proper genius and ground breaking music.

  • John Mayer.

  • Classified acronyms.

    FS = for sale
    WTS = want to sell
    WTD = wanted?

    The inconsistency of WTD or me missing something obvious has been bugging me.

  • WTS is want to swap, maybe?

  • Will Tickle Scrotum.

  • Promises, promises.

  • Paul components

  • Country music and the dress up like cowboys thing that seems to go alongside it.

  • You haven't lived till you've heard a drunk in a Glaswegian karaoke bar belting out "Some times it's hard tae be a wumman". Scottish dude ranches are also a thing.

    There's a maudlin element of Scottish culture where Country music fits right in.

  • I don’t get the link between coastal living and country music cosplay.

    They have a mad country music festival in Millport and there’s a weird enclave of country music fanatasism just up from Dunoon

  • Ended up in a country bar in rural Alberta. It took me a while to adjust to the fact that these were real cowboy types not cosplayers. They all wanted to be the White Hat Cowboy
