It's always worth posting this sort of thing in the main 'Stolen bikes' thread, as many more people read that.
Yesterday police found 20 bikes and £50k cash in Hackney Wick, believed to be a stolen bike mega hub for East London.
I have read that confiscated cash will subject to forfeiture once the case is over. I think it is a good idea to gather as many lost bike cases in East London over last 12 months, and perhaps claim a sizeable chunk of this cash for the victims.
