Saw the Audi about 8am and did wonder. Hope the rider is OK.
29.2.22, Saturday morning, I saw a rider go down in an group in what looked like an innocuous touch of wheels. Lap after that they were doing compressions on one of the guys, next lap they had closed the road for the air ambulance.
Didn't see any news of how he's doing, anyone know? -

I don't know whether it's because it's winter or because the traffic has returned post-pandemic, but there's been a lot more crashes at Regents recently. I've seen a couple this year already after not seeing any for months.
Hope both riders are ok.

Both crashes sound worrying, but the crash seen by APassenger more so. Could you perhaps start a thread about it, APassenger? Also note that you have a typo in the date.
Did you see the rider hit the Audi, dubtap, or did you only come across it later?

Didn’t see him hit the car only ambulance crew working on him; it was parked illegally at that time of the morning and that stretch has no streetlights and was particularly dark. A group of riders had stopped and were talking about what happened.
That’s the second crash of that type I’ve seen the immediate aftermath of, also the guy who nearly died outside the US Embassy and was saved by a motorbike cop after slashing his neck after hitting rear window of a car which Ithink also was illegally parked early morning.

Thanks, any idea whether it was groups or single riders in each instance?
It's awful that it was illegal parking.

Must have been Saturday 29 January. We also saw the aftermath. There was a large group of Black Cyclists Network riders clustered around, and it may have been one of their number who was down. But I have no information on this point. Outer Circle is now very busy on Saturday mornings towards 10 o'clock.

No real idea
Unfortunately another rider crashing into the back of a parked car just before 7am.
Audi hatchback parked outside the Zoo entrance with smashed rear window and LAS tending to the rider for quite a while.
