Would imagine the crease is from storage and the flatness is due to them being fairly wide.

Good luck with your project. I have a belt made of inner tubes, and to be honest it's a bit shit because it's so stretchy. Something to bear in mind if your bag is to be good for carrying heavy things?

yeah i thought that at first, but after applying extremely high heat to the tubes to flatten them (which didn't do anything), i think it may be the way they are made or the way certain tubes are made (like this Kenda tubes)

I will be lining the bag so that should strengthen the bag. Thanks
Hi all,
I hope this is the right place to ask this, if not, could someone recommend a better place to info.
I am making a bag with inner tubes that are no longer usable however I need these specific types to do what I want to do. Does anyone know why these still have the crease and are so flat? Does anyone know where I can get more of these/does anyone have any like this I could use. Maybe some London bike shops may have some? If the photos are not clear, let me know!
Thanks
Sam
