fwiw i would get hope, installed two and it's just a joy, tolerances are tight but not absurd, rubber seals are bonded, the crown race is split not press fit - just all round designed for the home mechanic while still being reliable
i guess it's the difference between the americans and the british
the americans made the perfect machine, which is an exhaubarent price, filled with their own standards and really requires 5 or 6 people to fit and a bucket load more tools. a job creation scheme if you will.
the british? it keeps out mud and any loser can do it in their shed. it's not very pretty to look at tho

I've had a few ck headsets and have been fine. I always cut crown races myself before installing. Lil hack saw job and its always an ease to get on and off.
People don't always agree with the method of cutting it yourself but I've found no harm.
I'm gonna take a punt on the superstar tbf as I want purple and not have to pay 80/90 for a hope
I'm thankful for this review..
I want a splash of colour so think I may have to sink into my wallet for a hope.
Non of this ck business.
