Does anyone need a 180 rotor on a touring/audax/gravel bike?
It's not so much the braking power but also the rotors wear, less chance of burning out the rotors/pads etc. which can be a deciding factor.
140mm rotors while they exist, don't offer that much advantage being more prone to being burnt out and quicker to wear out.
Does anyone need a 180 rotor on a touring/audax/gravel bike? It's hardly downhill - 160mm provides more than enough stopping power.
