Welcome to Everton, Frank. 😞

I've had my doubts but VAR really is great.

4 points from safety.
Survival then liquidation? Or will that gobshite at Middlesbrough stop swinging his micro penis about and let us complete a takeover and get out of administration?

I’m in the ‘anti’ camp this evening.

jurgen klopp declaring a fully fit squad, says he can't ever remember that happening before
hendo slight back twinge and mane still away but all in contention for leicester ( bar mane )makes a nice change from last season

Did Liverpool have injuries last season? I don’t remember anybody mentioning it.
-
• #160335
You must remember. It was that freak season where no other teams had any injuries at all apart from Liverpool.
-
• #160336
Thank goodness covid isolations gave us those enforced rest periods
-
• #160337
Played 2 games more than Reading though, and our injury crisis finally seems to be ending so in theory our horrendous form should pick up from now onwards

I went to a Conference game last night. The biggest revelation was that there are still fans doing the ‘you’re shit AAAHHHHH’ thing when a ‘keeper takes a goal kick.

• #160339
about the only fun I've had at games this season

Royston under 11s do that to the away keepers. There's about 20 of them all chirping the keeper about two octaves higher than you'd expect. It's great.

The two worst things about lower league football are that, and this song followed by the name of the team.
That said - it’s an all round much better experience (value for money, atmosphere, accessibility) than the premier league.

You’ve only picked up one point since December (against us). I’m pretty sure your form will need to pick up significantly to think you’ll be safe from the drop.
How’s that first game in hand going for you tonight? Hopefully I’ve not asked too early.

Hope Readings injury problems get sorted soon.
It would be a shame to only have a handful of experienced first team players left, be unable to add anyone to the squad and have to field a load of teenagers and give debuts to 20 academy players in one season.

Tottenham - Southampton was some game.

We were terrible until the last 20 minutes, thanks for asking

This also pretty much describes Reading's season although by my reckoning we have only had to play 12 Academy players

Saw a lot of it - Soton didn't look like a side taken to pens by Coventry last week.

Commentators nightmare here.Hamilton, Hamilton and Hamilton start for Arbroath against Hamilton while Hamilton also have a Hamilton in their starting lineup.

arbroath turning into some story - part-timers currently 5 points clear at the top of the scottish championship. would like to see them get to the SPFL

Premier League is surprisingly reasonable value if you only go to away games. I was paying more to go away in the Championship than I do in the Premier League.
(Or just go to Burnley where you can get a season ticket for about £300 and a Bene 'n' hot for £2).
Would be interesting to see this combined with total wage expenditure. Juventus for example have signed loads of players on free transfers but then paid huge wages (a la Ramsey).
