What I've seen of the workmanship is really impressive, especially the rear dropouts, not an ounce of superfluous brass.
Exactly, probable that it had "loose" cable guide rather than brased on.
The fork i doubt it is the original, Somec being italian most of the early bikes (all that i've seen) have been columbus tubing.
