You pick countries and it tells you how close you are and in which direction.

That was tough and I wouldn’t have got it anyway… but I’m a bit miffed with the clue on turn 3. I understand distance to country is difficult to define but in intuitive terms the clue was simply wrong 🤣

What clues do you speak of? This was even hard using Google maps.

I tried without maps but it told me I needed to move 1500 mi to the southeast which isn’t really accurate (at least not on an intuitive level)

Programmatically it makes sense to store only one "location" for each country, and he's designed it so that it's the geographic centre of each country. That's on the help screen.

As opposed to going a greater distance southwest?

Yeah I get it… it’s just that in this case it’s frustratingly unintuitive. I don’t have a better solution and I wouldn’t have got it anyway 🤣
