The bit in the Beneviento house?

Just started a Valheim game with some pals. It's escalating fast, now 7 of us and a permanent server. Shaping up really nicely, a good balance of crafting, building and farming for the filthy casuals (me) and combat and hunting for the gamer dudes

I really enjoyed it.
A bit to much collecting bits for my personal preference, but nice story and played consistently with the fallout 3 style controls and game play.I'll wait tlfor the second one to drop in price before giving it a go.

I bought it but haven't played it yet.
sunk most of yesterday into playing loop hero. very simple gameplay loop (literally) and requires you to grind a fair bit to build stuff in your camp to unlock things to keep things progressing but it's the kind of thing you can leave and come back to whenever you want without really worrying about what you were up to.

To go along with my getting an Xbox Series X and then playing a last gen platformer like Hollow Knight.
I decided to test my shiny new blazing fast 12th gen i7 with a 3080 with...
The Stanley ParableGood fun for a few hours. Worth a play for an afternoon of amusement.

The Stanley Parable
Such a great game, fairly sure I've forgotten pretty much all the lines so probably time to go back and enjoy it again!

Some of the interior shots looked a bit smooth for me, I want some judder and rattle. Still the car buying process looked fun, gave you a palpable sense of ownership over your garage. First GT game I will have bothered with since 3 and I never really found that a particularly satisfying experience because I was more of an arcade gamer and mastering braking zones and manual shifting just seemed like work, bit more happy to put in the hours this time around for the satisfaction of putting a good lap together.
Racing sim bores have probably changed the shape of console racers since the PS2 days so hope it's still fun.

Sifu is in the wild, reviews are out, watched fighting cowboy do a livestream of it last night. Feels like there’s some driver/stuntman frustration vibes, that have been baked into the gameplay, conscious decisions to make you have to replay and replay and replay to get better/perfect, which I’m not sure I’m going to enjoy.
But I still think I’m going to get it. And probably fairly soon..
Looks amazing though..
Skill up review of it here

I’ve been playing Manifold Garden on Switch, it’s a sort of Escher cheese dream maxi/minimalist Portal https://youtu.be/hAje82IKirI

Absolutely game for this, really happy with his review too.
Probably won't play it for a while though so will hold off for a sale. -

Would love to do that, but know I’ll find myself gravitating to YouTube vids of people playing it, and don’t want any more spoilers than I already have.

Fortunately I have an all consuming addiction to WoW since thinking to myself 'wonder how well it runs on a Mac M1?' in august so won't have any problem avoiding spoilers for other games for a while.

Genuinely surprised I managed to find it again. -

ShopTo £50 for £43.85 is "best" value, with a 12.3% saving, closely followed by their £35 for £30.85 (11.9%)
CDKeys is offline for me, so cannot update my spreadsheet*
*I am a loser but it helped me save money
Edit: if you are after PSN cards
-
• #26593
I am after PSN cards. Saw that CDKeys was down, so will get two ShopTo £50.
Weird, ShopTo won't let you buy two of the same wallets at once. -

Thanks for the reminder, I need to stock up for Elden Ring and GT7.

Not sure if there's much interest here but I've got an Atari 2600 to shift from my collection as quite frankly my TV has only a digital tuner and no other input other than HDMI... And it's probably time to let go, they seem to go for £70.
Also I've got
Dreamcast
Master System II
Sega Saturn
N64
Game Cube
Gameboy Colour
That I'm looking to shift if anyone wants to make me an offer on any of them other wise I'll just send them to CEX.

Not sure if anyone has already posted about OlliOlli World but it's excellent. So much fun to play with simple controls but tough & super satisfying to master.
Looks incredible on the OLED Switch too and seems to run at a locked 60 in gameplay at least.
10/10 so far for me....

I think it's 4k 120Hz on Series X too...

If you can be arsed you'll make loads more listing everything on eBay rather than taking them to CEX, who offer pennies on the pound

reminds me of old-school run and jump game canabalt.
Finished Resident Evil Village, really enjoyed that, most of the creepiness of 7: Biohazard (nothing's ever going to be creepier than 7) but a return to the inbred European setting of 4. Served all the classic RE tropes, including the totally mad and implausible final couple of hours.
The four Lords were cool, particularly Donna Beneviento.
