My mum did the forms as she was applying at the same time (along with my siblings) so it was much easier to collect everything together that way.
If I recall correctly it was birth and marriage certificates for my grandparents (and death certificate for my grandad). Then you had to get the forms signed by a witness (GP etc.). Also my birth certificate and I guess my mum's.

my dad and grandparents were born in and around belfast and pretty sure he has his birth certificate handy. would i need more proof to commence the application
wow a 3 year wait, not that i'm in any hurry, might speed up a bit now that covid is receding and workers are getting back to the office
