Beautiful dog. Do you know what she is?
Certainly looks to have some terrier in her. They certainly like chasing squirrels.
I’m guessing from the grey around her muzzle she’s not a youngster, but you can still have some success working on her recall if you start straight away.

we just came home with a dog from battersea: she’s incredibly sweet and exactly how i imagined in terms of size shape etc. wife is freaked out though at how excited the dog gets when she sees squirrels and cats, pulls in the lead and barks, this may also extend to ducks. wife wondering if this means she’ll ever be ok off lead. i’m more relaxed but don’t know what to say to wife to make her feel better. and of course might be deluding myself about it. it’s only day one tho
