  • We seem to have turned into a nation that wants everything delivered for our own convenience but we start crying when it’s not quite as convenient as we hoped.

I doubt drivers getting paid minimum wage - if all their deliveries run to schedule - are deliberately standing about and sniggering while the customer’s food goes cold.

  • Nah man, literally every driver that actually reads the delivery instruction finds it. Before satnavs people found it. When I worked as a delivery driver I’d have to figure it out sometimes but I never just sat and waited in the wrong place, lol. I get it’s a shit job, but when you’ve got instructions and a contact phone number and decide to use neither you don’t get my sympathy.

When I pay for something, and it’s messed up because of completely avoidable incompetence, it’s annoying.

Piss off with this “crying because of inconvenience” nonsense. What are you, a fucking boomer or something?
Takeaways arriving cold isn’t some modern frustration. It was annoying when it happened in the 90s too.

Edit: this reply is a bit strong. Sorry. I am a grumpy bastard when it comes to food and mornings.

Go and pick it up yourself if it bothers you. That’s all I can really suggest.
