Ok, this one is special as it belonged to a friend and I don't really want to let it go

First the not so good stuff. I've been meaning to get it serviced. The bottom bracket could do with being replaced, along with the brake cables and grips. Otherwise the bike is sound.

Thomson masterpiece post, Thomson stem, Clickster fw, Omniums, goldtec hubs on Halo Calibre rims, nokon housing. You can see what's going on in the picture. Any questions please ask.

  • Great deal!! If I didn’t have one I’d be all over this, GLWS!

  • good look, good deal, should be snapped up

  • I am very tempted tbh. I am not just not sure if the 59cm size would work well for me at 6ft. Ideally, I'd like a 56cm I think.
@psg1ben do you have the original forks?

  • Ah no original forks I'm afraid

Not sure if my Genesis would interest you? It's quite a different setup to this but started it's life as a single speed and comes with original fork and rear wheel

  • I’ve got a pair of unused forks I bought for a project, which I’m not using. Not 100% certain but I’m fairly sure they’re for a steamroller (~38mm offset, mid reach and light for steel at ~800g from memory) if you’re after a pair for this.

  • Are you sure this is a 59?

May just be the higher angle of the first photo but the size of the head tube looks a lot like a 56

  • I'm pretty sure it was 59 c-t.
I'll double check when I'm with the bike.

I might have a PM from a while back when someone else asked, will double check that as well.

  • Would happily take only the frame without forks and rest of your hand if you are willing to split.

    Cheers!

  • Update. I've been quoting the c-t measurement which is indeed 59cm.
    C-c is in fact, 55cm, not 56, 55

  • And a split won't happen. As I've said, this bike belonged to a friend who sadly is no longer with us. It's hard enough to let it go and i wont be parting it out. The proceeds will all go to a charitable cause, I'm not profiting from the sale at all.

  • What's the top tube measurement C to C? thanks

  • 🤣
