Thought about that. I would rather remove the padding from the saddle. Lighter innit.

Another vote for OneUp. Easy to set up and service, and their customer service is fucking amazing.
Also had a Bikeyoke, which was arguably smoother, but my word it was an arse to fit a cable onto it -

I'm not sure the 170mm Brand-X will be short enough at max height. Looks like most are around 150mm. YEP=Nup -> I'd rather not spend 400 quid on top of the 200-odd the Marzocccccchhhhhiii cost.

Ok, looks like I might be able to get hold of a OneUp and that's three people (as opposed to the bots you'd normally get reviewing shit) that rate them.

I thought most 'people' here were bots
-
• #23233
Most people's posts aren't clever enough to be bots.

Not the first time I've been accused of not being human. Let's reuse the AI thread.

Thanks, I've already ordered a OneUp.
One should buy another one for one's On-One so one's On-One has one One-Up too.
-
• #23238
You wouldn't want your On-One to be one-upped now, would you
-
• #23239
Which On-One though? One On-One with one One-Up would one-up the On-One without one One-Up but what if it wore a WoundUp?

Up yours.

• #23241
With any luck!

Have One-Up also, it's been faultless and you can buy service kits etc easily. But so far all I needed was a shock pump and some silicone shine.

Don't know why I got a dropper. I just throw my bike down anything steep and crawl after it. Sliding is the new riding.
-
• #23244
I'd be surprised if you can't just shim it with a hard but flexible bit of plastic
-
• #23245
You bought the wrong size bike. Give it to a taller person
-
• #23246
Inverse shim? Why didn't I think of that?!
-
• #23247
I'm fine with that. MTBs are dumb. You want it?

Fitted the B1 spring to my Lyriks this morning, it sits down maybe 5-8mm at most. Feels much softer and smoother off the top compared to the C1 though

You'd at least use it properly. Feels so massive to me.
I've also got the (white) Inbred rolling again with wider bars and 36x22 so I can actually climb stuff. Just need to get some knobbies on (ghetto tubeless?).
